Pedri mensch....

For me the best central midfielder in the world

We watched this very boring video, 500 times, of Sacchi doing defensive drills, using sticks and without the ball, with Maldini, Baresi and Albertini. We used to think before then that if the other players are better, you have to lose. After that we learned anything is possible – you can beat better teams by using tactics." Jurgen Klopp

Gnabry and Rudiger have been the best in the 1st half.

Top game from clearly some of the best sides in the tourney. Spain’s passing and possession gave us impressive but the Germans look dangerous too. It could go either way in my opinion

Spain needs to stop show boating and put the knife on target.

Rudiger almost put Germany ahead, offside by inches. Spain is tempting fate.

Spain need to get rid of this tiki-taka nonsense and play more pragmatic football sometimes

Two wrinkles to free kick routine by Tunisia and Germany today vs a high defensive line.

Running across the GKs line of sight;

Deployment of initial decoy run, and then a later run by Rudiger in this case

That Spanish goalie is going to cost them with his insistence on passing out of the back.

Spain was patient, trusting in its possession and passing game.

Infuriating style, because they still don't take enough shots in my book.

But when they go up, they are EXTREMELY difficult to beat coming from behind...now Germany will be more vulnerable to their centers.

Germany has to go for broke or else.
