In-fighting is always there in every team to some degree.
Croatian players revolted during WC 2018 qualifying, getting the coach hired, Dalic got hired...we made playoffs and then history at WC 2018 by getting to the final.
Croatia dismissed Kalinic during WC 2018 because he refused to warm up late in a 1st round game.
Croatia dismissed Ante Rebic, a hero of WC 2018 because he publicly said coach Dalic is a lousy tactician and that Croatia could do even better without him...and he is by far our best forward right now.
Team USA has some in-fighting with Berhalter. He didn't select Pepi on the team.
Again, it's a matter of degree.

Maybe. But even with in-fighting, Croatia got to a WC final in 2018.
Point is, ignore the critics. Croatia also gets criticized by the Western press on such things. But you do what you have to do.
