Liverpool, European Champions 2005.

We watched this very boring video, 500 times, of Sacchi doing defensive drills, using sticks and without the ball, with Maldini, Baresi and Albertini. Penalty kicks should always be taken with power. Even if the keeper guesses correctly, the pace will make it hard to save.

I tire for am.
He probably processed 5 million combinations in his head - left, right, power, finesse, high, low - and just in the end confused himself!

This Ayew guy is quite a liability to the team. His body poise and body language
in taking the penalty were simply juvenile. This happens when a player thinks he
is bigger than the team.

I don't understand this business of stuttering and stammering around PKs
That is a strategy to get the gk to commit to one side then pk taker can roll the ball to the other side. The disadvantage is that it reduces the power on the shot.
