Most importantly stick Mikel to his NATURAL position to partner Ndidi, play Iwobi in his position and stick onyekuru, Chukwueze and Musa upfront to stretch that plantanian defence. We will beat Cameroon, we've got the psychological edge over them.Damunk wrote:Can we just not wear that cursed dark green jersey?Tobi17 wrote:I'll take that!! Cameroon and Nigeria both 'all bark but no bite', therefore it will be a game of leg breaking
that ends with no score or a low scoring tie, with Naija going forward on penalties.

What makes you think we would go through on PK's? How many of our players take PK's at their clubs? That a poor PK taker like Ighalo is our designated PK guy says all you need to know about us. Only Vic Mo and Kelechi were trust-worthy, but they no dey...joao wrote:Cameroon and Nigeria both 'all bark but no bite', therefore it will be a game of leg breaking

I don't know where this over confidence is coming from, if we can lose to King Julien and his Madagacan Lemurs, I think we should be worried meeting either of the Kenkey or Plantain brothers. I will be.

Baba Oloye we know the circumstances behind that Madagascar loss(we seem to forget we played possibly the worst line up) and got dusted by two fortuitous goals(which if course doesn't excuse our lethargic display). But we can't play the second fiddle, nobody thought we would beat Cameroon the last time we met but we did, it's not overconfidence... it's just harping on your psychological dominance (which we currently have over Cameroon), and smartly using it to our advantage. We go beat Cameroon, quote me on this.oloye wrote:I don't know where this over confidence is coming from, if we can lose to King Julien and his Madagacan Lemurs, I think we should be worried meeting either of the Kenkey or Plantain brothers. Like Tobi17 said, we know the circumstances of our loss to Madagascar. Those reasons are not terminal.
It is no reason for you a veteran of the game to lose all perspective.

When you start saying one team poses no threat, that na over confidence. I don't like the way our boys huffed and puffed against the likes of Burundi, Guinea and Madagascar... There is no way anyone would tell me that Cameroon or Ghana will be a walk over in fact both teams look better than our team in my humble opinion.Robbynice wrote:Uncle Oloye surprise me sha. Of course we have the knack for rising to the occasion, but these two teams I won't want anything to do with them. But I would like to say, to be the champ you have to beat everything in your front.

Cameroon and Ghana isn't going to be a walkover even if we had completely dominated Burundi, Guinea, and Madagascar and beat them like they stole something.oloye wrote:When you start saying one team poses no threat, that na over confidence.
