For the sake of his sanity and for unnecessary tension and pressure, he should just move on cause he will.never win with Arsenal fans. The only to win would be for him to be perfect, and no one ever is. Once he makes the first mistake, they will jump on him.
Like you, I have had a good look, I have taken time out to look at his numbers and drilling down into them with like for like comparisons. Mustafi has faults which are highlighted, but he also has strengths which are ignored. He is proactive as a CB and that his where he opens himself up to mistakes. When you are always on the front foot, he always leaves his critics with a lot to criticise him with the he should have done this or that.

I get really frustrated with Mustafi and I have sworn at him many times. But he is nowhere as bad as being made out. It must be said, there is a devil in there and I just wish he uses it with more street sense. He actually has some of the best defensive numbers at the club and is a world class header of the ball.
I still remember that game where we beat Spurs 2-0 and he had Kane in his pocket the whole game. He scored arsenal' s first goal that day.

Arsenal fans are amazing.....we tend to overate those we like and then scapegoat those we despise.
Every time I remember that game, I want to defend him like he is my blood.

Is that the only game? What about the game against Liverpool at the emirates which we drew. He paired Holding that day in what i believe was our best match of the season. A match we could and should have beaten Liverpool. Even Klop admitted that much post-match.

I can see Willock getting a lot of games this season. Xhaka needs to be worried especially with Ceballos around too. I'm assuming Torreira would be much better after getting over his debut season. All the smeh smeh on the ball from Xhaka better stop or he will chop a whole lot of bench!

They gotta be taking the Mick:

Gunners not giving up on Wilfried Zaha despite Nicolas Pepe signing
Crystal Palace winger favours a deal that would keep him in London and he could move if clubs can agree a deal that is good value for both
.....Arsenal have strengthened their position even further by signing Pepe, Zaha’s Ivory Coast team-mate, one of the brightest forward talents in Europe, and could test Palace’s resolve as the summer transfer window nears its end.

https://inews.co.uk/sport/football/wilf ... olas-pepe/
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Omg - shouldn't make sense - but let's see - 2 wide forwards with speed & end product - solve MF, solidify the backline - we're in the top 3 discussion - :sneaky:
If I give you a good wine, you will see how it tastes and after you ask where it comes from,'' ""To put players in my team who are not good enough will not strengthen the England team, and would weaken the Arsenal team.''The only thing I can say is that whenever England do not win it is always my fault, even when I am not at the game".Wenger said.

Sokratis happen... that is Arsenal problem at the back.It is so worrisome that the coaching crew can't figure this out quickly.
Make good thinking a priority so that you can make Godly placement a possibility.

Really .....doing what at night....anyways ....never mind.

Good advice.....if only you could follow it and get off an arsenal thread......trolling is not a career by the way.

I actually think Mustaffi has played better than Sokratis in the pre-season.
Winners do it the right way.
