Huge. The last of the leviathans. Brigadier. Admiral. Authority. Bold, bold decision by Everton. Wise? Time will tell. No shortage of takers no doubt. Italy, Spain, Germany, France.

Dyche will be a loss the to the Premier League. I like the no nonsense type of football his teams play as it is a refreshing break from seeing relegation bound teams like Southampton trying to play 1-2s on the edge of their 6 yard box, getting repeatedly dispossessed, and then spanked 5-0 - in the name of "philosophy". I like the "when in doubt put it out" school of defending and have never seen a striker score a goal from a ball launched into Row Z of the main stand.

Good luck to them. They want to keep recycling the older coaches. Other clubs are going for the dynamic younger coaches.

“The heavy metal King hold big sh*t with spare clips”. - Mobb Deep’s Albert Johnson’s ode to the professional Professor of the Sciences.

The best going back since Chris Wallace wrote “Cally”.

Pulis guided the Potters back to the top flight two years later after a 23-year absence, and Stoke never finished lower than 14th in five Premier League campaigns under his stewardship.

The highlight was taking Stoke to their first FA Cup final in 2011, where they lost to Manchester City.
Pulis left Stoke by mutual consent in May 2013, having finished 13th in the Premier League.

It’s the fear of relegation and the loss of revenue that is making them hire old heads like Dyche, Moyes and Alladyce. They want that instant spark from someone that can steer them away from relegation.

Moyes got to two consecutive European cup finals and has never been relegated. I think his time at Manchester United tainted his legacy. However, he is a solid hand for a relegation threatened club like Everton.

Last season at Goodison Park, relegation would sentence them to Davey Jones’ locker.
