Beckham signed a 3 yr contract worth 70k/week with 20k/week from image rights and was there for a whole season before he left in 2003 for six figures. With 2 yrs left, that was the time to get the best deal for him if he would leave. Your statement of leaving within months is completely untrue.
Long tory, I did not ask you for the terms of the contract....

Considering that he signed a 3 year contract and left some 12 months after(That is if we are to go by your words, and we are not sure if it was up to that) I was right to say he left some months after signing a new contract!
