Re: Chelsea FC- News, Developments & Season
Chelsea’s £61m haul from the FIFA Club World Cup 2024 stands out as one of their most lucrative tournament windfalls this season.
Breakdown: Includes prize money, broadcasting rights, and sponsorship--doubling revenue from similar past competitions.
Comparison: That total rivals or exceeds typical UEFA Europa League earnings, and represents a major chunk of Chelsea’s 2024/25 total competition revenue.
Impact: This financial boost not only strengthens Chelsea’s transfer budget but also elevates their Financial Fair Play flexibility, paving the way for high-profile squad investments and infrastructure upgrades.
Chelsea’s aggressive commercial strategy continues to turn global success into concrete financial advantage.

Liverpool, European Champions 2005.
We watched this very boring video, 500 times, of Sacchi doing defensive drills, using sticks and without the ball, with Maldini, Baresi and Albertini. We used to think before then that if the other players are better, you have to lose. After that we learned anything is possible – you can beat better teams by using tactics." Jurgen Klopp

Sorry for the late response brother due to watching our last 2 games in Philly and work squeezed in between. Experimentation with different formations is necessary given the squad depth in central midfield. The key to that alternate formation is Lavia’s fitness and also James at RB. Both were similar this season in terms of output (although Kudus had 14g + 7 assists the previous season at W. I think Chelsea is better of looking for a CF and flog Jackson. You already have Neto and Estevao for RW. Pedro and Gittens for LW.
I will either buy a CF or go for Elliot @ Liverpool. Elliot is home grown and can play as Palmer's sub + cover for RW. Same as Kudus can, but I rate him above Kudus and he is home grown + no AFCON.

Maybe we could get to see the return of the narrow 41212 alas Carlo 15 seasons ago. Enzo Maresca still has a lot of work to do. Hopefully the new signings gell quickly.green4life wrote: ↑Mon Jul 07, 2025 1:54 amSorry for the late response brother due to watching our last 2 games in Philly and work squeezed in between. Next season won't be a joke . All top 4 teams have spent big time this season . I still think Chelsea needs a real 9. Delap has struggled big time in the cwc. His last game was really bad I wonder who starts Tuesday

Delap is suspended. Pedro arguably is not yet football fit to start. Jackson likely gets the nod (with Pedro in the 2nd half) and hopefully stays out of trouble. But I actually hopes he plays. Sometimes, you see someone on tv and because you cant see their off the ball performance, you may not appreciate them fully, or in the case of Nunez, realize how truly had they are. I knew how poor Nunez is from watching him on tv, but I remember when I saw him life in person it was soooo soooo bad!
