Ironic that McTominay (whom Manchester United tried to sell and kept on the bench even though he has scored 6 goals in his last 5 games for Scotland) came off the bench in the 87th minute to save the club with match saving and winning goals in the 93rd and 96th minutes.
Also ironic that a Scot scored 2 injury time goals at Old Trafford the day after Sir Alex Ferguson's wife died...

This ref against Fulham should be sent to the Championship as well. He called a wrong foul against Fulham and then issues a YC when they complained.

Mainoo reminds me of a young Pogba, very composed on the ball, just 18 and playing like a seasoned pro! was not afraid of receiving the pass from Onana, will be a huge player for united

...ManUtd were playing scared for the whole 90 mins. No coordination, just like our SE with no direction, just there for the ride.

Not a Man Utd fan but that was a dire effort yesterday.
You'd think they were up against City the way they were bossed all over the pitch. Nope, it was Newcastle. A team with a much worse injury crisis, a tougher recent match schedule and a manager who hasn't been there much longer than Ten Hag. Yet they still outworked, outfought and outthought Man Utd while maintaining a tactical coherence that the latter has yet to find this season.
I like Ten Hag but this performance is a worry for him. After last season's good work this team still looks more like one that thrives in transition rather than one that seeks to control games. The MH is way too open, that poor kid Mainoo got hung out to dry. And some of those players - Martial? Rashford?? Yikes.
