Impossible ne pas camerounaise. I had written these ladies off because of all the poor vibes I had heard about the coach and player selection but they´re real Amazons. Didnt watch the game but heard Adjara, Johnson and Awona (who scored the own goal) did well.

Johnsons is a funny story. Had stopped playing football like 4 years ago but started again only to be called up by Cameroon. It was her dream to play in a major competition. She was born in Cameroon by a Malian Mom and an American dad. Thats why she´s eligible to play for Cameroon.

Are Onana, Kana Biyick, Kunde, children of the past great Lions?
Names like Onana, Kunde, Onguene, Mbida and even Messi are as common in the yaounde region like Chukwu is common in the south east in Nigeria. I think only Kana Biyick is related to the older Andre Kana Biyick.

This country called Cameroon, I dont if its a curse becuase events keep on repeating themselves in the most backward and painful fashion. The lions missed their flight on Thursday because the administration did not pay their bonuses. The trip from Qatar to yaounde and from yaounde to Qatar was paid by the Qatar federation. The lions neither recieved bonuses for the training sessions or the games played. They even got to madrid by paying their flight tickets either completely or partially. De ja Vu once again! This happened in 2002 and 2014 and we all know how those tournaments ended. Even some lions from the 1990 squad say they havent recieved their total cash promised in 1990. What a crying shame! I´m lessening my expectations. If they crash out early, it wouldnt be a surprise.

Here are they having midnight sessions with the administration from 02:00 a.m till 4:30 a.m this morning

Goodess,
When are you going to report that the Lions have arrived in Egypt and are ready to kick some a$$ ?
I was talking to the JUJU man for the tournament in Egypt and he certified to me that we are going reach at minimum the semi finals.
I believe him, because he knows his trade ... What say you?
He also predicted that the Lioness will reach the second round.

...African bigmanism, oganism, all in the name, they don't know how to account, prepare, be logistically sound. If you can't pay simple bonus why enter the competition? Cameroon Nigeria by extension Ghana all the same.

The semis is the minimum the lions have to reach. Remember, they re the cup bearers. If, this Seedorf(which I find very arrogant) does not do the job well, he should be aware that he wouldnt last long on the job. I´m also very sceptical of them becuase they re from Holland and couldnt win a tournament in their time. The semi finals was always their best

Johnson is a very fine player. Stabilized the defense.
