Thats true. He was at Benfica, where:
1. he won two trophies, including a league title
2. competed for the title in 3 years (came first 1 time and 2nd two times)
3. competed in the CL for 3 seasons as well as Quarterfinals of Europa League
And how many did Porto win?
By the way, you saw VVD and Robbo just now vs. Everton right? Like I said, when you buy players who are not used to competing at the highest level, they struggle under pressure.

At this point you are just flailing...

Liverpool, European Champions 2005.
We watched this very boring video, 500 times, of Sacchi doing defensive drills, using sticks and without the ball, with Maldini, Baresi and Albertini. We used to think before then that if the other players are better, you have to lose. After that we learned anything is possible – you can beat better teams by using tactics." Jurgen Klopp

Inability to handle pressure at Goodison, losing the lead in the last minute and having a meltdown thereafter is the definition of flailing . . .

Re: Pepe and City
One of the beauties of football is that football rewards simplicity. If you want to be arrogant, and complicate things, football will deal with you.
I watched this game specifically to see Nico and confirm what I already knew. I am not even going to speak about the purchases of Kuz and Mamoush, which were clearly necessary and didnt happen earlier because of arrogance. But the decision to not buy a proper CDM that fits the system, simply because "he cant bench Rodri" was just pure arrogance, which they have paid for.
Watching Nico today, you can see how much they have missed that profile. Look at the clip below. Without a a DM in that position, Newcastle would have been free straight in -- exactly how many teams have yanshed them this season.
Another arrogant team - Chelsea - needed a ST for the past 3 years and have been dilly dallying. "We dont want to hamper Jackson."

Pep will now focus on the PL.

Indeed and yet some with far less have scored even more. City are finished. Before the season’s out, they will collect another 5 or 6.

What a lesson! Gotta love Real Madrid! They put City and the Sh1t league in their place. Not only flogging them, but toying with them!
kai! La Liga is just a more superior league!

The funniest thing is that Madrid is not even in great form. They struggled over the weekend. Yet, look at how they humiuliated the Premier League. A four time back to back to back to back champion who has fvvcked Arsenal hard like you fvcckk a stubborn b1tch senseless
Yet, Madrid just brushed them aside.
And this is the beacon of your league???? Embarassing!

The worse thing is that both first and second leg, Real Madrid players have spent it laughing at City and their players

Only yesterday all the emojis were toasting the bags full of goodies from Balogun market. Today they're cooing up to Kylian and co. having ransacked the bags and all their contents. Women, wonders shall never cease. Caprice by name, caprice by nature.

Gvardiol-Ake-Kushanov-Lewis.
@Africanus, this could be the day the Old Testament roles into town. Biblical flogging. Have gone for 5 or more. Wingers, wingers, wingers and all the yam from Eke market day on display.
Big. Dom. Szoboslanke. There’s a penalty in that backline. And a red too.

Rico Lewis needlessly giving away a corner. Has proven himself incapable of anything at the highest standard on many occasions and doesn’t disappoint once more.

Ake is finished. Arms moving at twice the speed of his legs on the turn. He’ll be on toast before the game’s done.
