It's important we don't encourage mediocrity cos we've got 3pts to celebrate. There's something seriously wrong with us having to come from behind to tie the N.London derby & now beat a newly promoted Villa in home games
Regardless of the players we might desire to be part of the squad, physical athletic types etc - in our present rudderless state, we'll end up neutering the strengths of these players.
As a team of 10 - we shrunk the pitch with urgency, what had been easy made passes earlier on felt hurried by Villa - why did we have to lose a player to do that. We need good habits starting with maintaining shape - fast enough to nullify counters & quick enough to launch efficient counter attacks. A porous midfield is pub_level coaching. Little tweaks like discipline on how & when the FBs make their runs will help a lot. It's naive to keep catching both our FBs up field frequently.
We need to get back to something Ljungberg experienced in his time - fast movement of the ball - that's how you make the most of a speedy front 3!!! Too many counter attack opps are killed off cos our geezers wanna hug the rock.
Emery has to play the 10 vs 11 video to his team 'till they know every move by heart. More than today's result, It's important we make a stmt away to OT on Monday - it starts with a team with shape & balance intact!!!

Not tryin’ 2 be negative but if Mezut Ozil doesn’t wake up and start making himself counted in dis game then all hope is lost. Maybe it already is. This Tierney looks a playa. Know it’s only against a championship squad but it’s nice 2 see a left back willing and continually able to beat his man one vs one and deliver crosses in2 the box.

Reiss Nelson N Emile Smith Rowe also really need 2 step up. Willock is playing like he is a veteran of ten seasons. Boy just oozes class and confidence. Pls let this not be a jinx.
