Seem Xhaka is finally gone...
Report: Arsenal, Bayer Leverkusen agree to Granit Xhaka transfer fee
Granit Xhaka is headed to Bayer Leverkusen for £21.5M, reports football.london. That price, if accurate, is an excellent piece of business for Arsenal. For starters, it’s a significant increase on the previously reported £13M fee. Apparently the Gunners went back to the bargaining table for more money once they realized Xhaka was set to sign a long-term (4 year) deal with the German club.

These clubs are all washing money - i want Xhaka to go but common 30 year old with a year left in a club that dash other players out for free ? Bayer fall my hand lol. 21.5 M BP is really nice quid.

Details of the huge contract that tempted Kai Havertz to leave Chelsea and join Arsenal have been revealed.

Havertz arrives as highest-paid player
Eclipses Partey contract
Rice likely to join German at top of scale
WHAT HAPPENED? The German newspaper Bild report that the German arrives as the club's top earner at €20m (£17m/$22m) a year or €385,000 (£331,000/$420,500) a week with further bonuses available for helping the club to silverware. Thomas Partey was believed to be the previous highest-paid player on €12m (£10m/$13m) a year or €230,000 (£198,000/$250,000) per week.

THE BIGGER PICTURE: Havertz enters a pay grade that had been obsolete at the Emirates since the departures of Pierre-Emerick Aubemeyang and Mesut Ozil in the previous two seasons.

AND WHAT'S MORE: But he should soon have company at the top of the charts with Declan Rice's impending arrival likely to surpass Havertz's transfer fee while matching him in wages. The success of the current squad also means that any contract renewals are likely to land in the same bracket

No chance he will make that move from Chelsea and take a step down in his career. only reason anyone makes that move is if (1) chelsea wants them out; AND (2) the money is huge.

Gallas is the only exception. Chelsea did not want him out, but Arsenal offered him more than Chelsea would.

There is no chance Harvaeth is earning more e money than Saka. Saka is the highest earner followed by Jesus.

Rice and Timber set for medicals ..
Leverkusen. Bid 21MP for Xhaka
Partey might stay. Set to hold talks.

Xhaka is a very good player. I prefer they keep him. 21 MP is good money in today market.

Nah he put a dent to Arsenal’s championship season thanks to his antics against Liverpool. Arsenal were taking it to Liverpool before his unnecessary fight with Trent Arnold got the lifeless Liverpool crowd going. Good riddance!

Alternate narrative could be that the injury to Saliba effectively ended our title run - This narrative is likely the reason Arsenal is pushing for Jurien T.

Xhaka was by far the MOSt improved player in that team last season , Saka was overplayed and rightly tanked towards the end ( something that I never understood , with Nelson and Ikedia ( maquihos ) able to releive him some games :(.

It is actually what happened. Saliba's injury stopped Arsenal playing the Arteta way.

Really enjoying these Euro U21 finals.
England already in the finals, and Spain clinging to
a 2–1 lead but Ukraine is fighting like their brave men back home.
Mudryk has been silent though … needs to step up.

That should be game, set and match.
Spanish players are just amazing to watch play.
The technical skills, calm under pressure and deadly finishing.
Simply beautiful to behold.
Ukraine gift away the third goal trying to play out from the back.
Oh well looking forward to the Spain-England final barring an unexpected Ukrainian counter offensive :D

Kai's scoring goals but our central midfield of Kai, Declan & Ødegaard isn't defensively sound. Mikel has his ideas, i would prefer Thomas & Declan sit till we get the confidence to mix things up more.
remember those days we drew designs on pitches with our game,
