Yes, VAR ENABLED the ref to make the right call. In this game the lines person waved offside, but the ref felt it was a goal. So the ref stopped & waited for VAR personnel, then confirmed for herself that it was indeed a goal. So the goal was given.
Therefore VAR ENABLED the ref to make the right call here.
