It's all about perspective. A few months back Maurinoise instead of doing what he's being paid to do coaching, was busy mouthing how bad these group of Man U players were. Yes this same group that have gone too many matches that one has lost count unbeaten.
One thing that's clear with the 2 legs of this match and the 2 legs of the RM/Ajax match is that it's all about tactics. Or are we gonna be told that Ajax has better quality players than RM?
On a side note, say what you may about Tuchel, no one can accuse him of hiding on the pitch. Does that resonate with anyone.

@Bk, nowt to do with patience, the truth is, the youth system's are massively overrated. The age grade triumphs of England's 3 Simbas has served only to inflate the fallacy. Seldom do these "one to watch" continue the same developmental trajectory. Such is the deficiency in the curriculum, theirs is a tendency towards the supernova, a blindingly bright light and then bugger all. Attitudinal problems are forever presented before the jury as the ring leader in their descent into the underworlds of lesser leagues at best or backwaters ala Frimpong, Aneke (now resurfaced at MK Dons), Craig Eastmond...the list is endless. Pick 10 names from today's crop and upon finding the very same trend for the vast majority, the bitter lemon reveals itself.

Frankie De Jong is the same age as Maitland Niles. Nothing to do with patience, there's just no comparison.

That am not disputing it but what I was trying to imply is that with the right environment and nurturing some of those could have turned into semi decent footballers either good enough for arsenal or somewhere else(and arsenal could have made a bit of money out them....more like what city did with rabbi matondo). The likes of Donyell Malen and Ismael Bennacer are decent players whom if the environment was conducive for them, arsenal could have either made a bit of money out of them or they could have turned into decent players.

You are right though about arsenal(and their fans) tending to overrate their academy players and the weird thing is the that ones they tend to overrate tend to be $#% after all. The decent ones they tend to treat like garbage. One example of which is Iwobi(he is a decent player despite what the insult peddling know-it-alls are alluding).

PSG was asking to be beat and rightly so,Tuchel is not my cup of tea as i have never rate him to be a big coach.As for Emery he failed at PSG the job was bigger for him,first season allow a youthful Monaco team to win league, throw 4 goals lead at Barca. I hope he becomes a legend at Arsenal and i have back him, give him a chance but was never my choice.The fact that he has expose Ozil to be an average player is enough for me to give him two season at beloved as Wenger spoil some of this players.Also Emery level the playing ground by picking those who he believe can do the job.I was surprise Ozil was bench after mid week display,he rightfully bench and Ramsey did a great job coming in.

Bottom line if Emery was great PSG would not have let him go,hopefully letting him go is a win for us Now smashed the french side then go beat Manu to put us in top 4th I have to admit i am shaking against this two teams ooooh.
