How did Leicester City finish yesterday’s game with up to 10 players on the pitch. Faes will probably feel hard done by for being sent off for 2 bookable offences after his teammates did the following:
1) Ricardo Pereira with an x-rates studs up stamp high on Joao Felix’s ankle (the ref did not even book Pereira let alone give him a deserved red card); and
2) Armatey went in on Havertz with a high and wild karate kick to Havertz’s chest. It was so fierce and reckless that it stripped skin off Havertz’s ribs and stomach. Again, the referee did not even award a FK, let alone a card.
VAR ignored these offences, yet recommended Casemiro’s red card today for a far more tame challenge.

The yellow card to Pellistri in the 29th minute of today’s Europa League match against Real Betis was tragi-comic. Pellestri was running with the ball 
but slipped and fell over. While he was on the ground, Betis’ midfielder Guido Rodriguez slid in and kicked Pellistri as he was on the floor.
So the ref booked…Pellistri. It was utterly mindless.

…and another shocker from the 0-0 draw between Man Utd and Southampton at the weekend. VAR refused to tell the referee to review this blatant handball by Southampton’s Armel Bella-Kotchap in the area. Bella-Kotchap actually bent down on the ground and stopped the ball with his hand! Yet no penalty.
