First good scoring opportunity but wasted by Bruno.

Better attacking moves by United but other areas appear to be same old so far.

New season, new manager, a few new players but the usual weak spots firmly and prominently in place - Harry Maguire, Scot and Fred.

Is Ten Hag already setting himself up for failure by trusting the wrong guys? Time will tell. Good managers can make something out of nothing.
I cautioned some here before.
That team has bigger problems than Ronaldo.
But the media hoodwinked people to think Ronaldo is the one who ruined the team flow, and causes Bruno to miss clear chances.

If Ten Hag keeps Maguire as captain, he will go the way of Ralf Rangnick

If there is no big development/announcement on a CR7 transfer until the season starts, then i can imagine that situation you describe above happening game upon game, and the English media having a field day every Monday with front pages of Ronaldo sulking on the bench or stands.

It is highly possible because let's be honest, which manager would ignore the way those boys are building up a chemistry in pre season and looking lively in front of goal.

But then again, football is football, when the proper season starts, the dynamics can change, and surprise surprise we could find Ten Hag calling on Ronaldo to rescue some sticky situations.
It would be a surprise and a worry as well if once again United ends up having to rely on CR7 for goals.

Anyway if CR7 is still at Old Trafford when the season starts, it may be a headache for Ten Hag
Like clockwork, Ronaldo is on to rescue the situation

English refs still love United.
A handball and a foul on the goalie and the refs still allow the bogus goal to stand lol.

The moves leading to the two goals conceded would have been long intercepted by someone like Eric Bailly or even a Tuanzebe but Mr Maguire was just sluggishly escorting the assists.

They previously ignored a Brighton handball in their penalty area as well. That aside, the goal is legit in my opinion. Disallowing it would have been the controversial decision. We are used to seeing all sorts with United, people only scream out when it appears to favour United. They are quiet about the other side of those decisions.

Cannot believe that Bailly and Tuanzebe are about to be sold so that Lindelof and Maguire can remain employed. 🤦🏽

Playing for a bigger club and will win something before Tottenham.

WTF are you talking about? You think any person with a brain will pick Tottenham above Manchester United? Even you will pick United above Tottenham. :rotf:
