Even Ajax was shocked that Man Utd made a bid for Martinez:😢

“Ajax themselves were shocked by the offer they received for their defender…When a €50m offer was placed for Martinez, Ajax asked themselves: ‘when will another club be placing such a high bid for a 1.75m centre-back?…Within Ajax they were completely surprised that such a gigantic offer was placed.”

WHo would have known that Ajax was a person who can speak and ask itself questions.

And its so cute how the writer was right there at that specific time, with a pen and pad, quickly writing down the quote, when Ajax got the offer and Ajax asked itself. :rotf: :rotf: :rotf:

The writer thinks you are fooolish, dont let him win! Because you are not fooooolish. you know for a fact that the quote was completely made up!

Let's go further and say in addition to Casemiro, who else should United add.
Because as someone like Ralf Rangnick mentioned, there is a need for about 10 players. Fo the long term.
By the way:

Leicester extended 35 year old Vardy
Liverpool extended 31 year old Henderson
Liverpool extended 30 year old Mo Salah

Would yu have advised them to release these old hags? And perhaps go for Bissouma who is a benchwarmer at a perennial losing club, Spurs?

But those you mention were already at those clubs and are playing well, hence the the extensions of contract.

The difference being that City brought in 22yr old Haaland, and Liverpool 23yr old Nunez.
Long term signings

Maybe Manchester United should also have kept Nemanja Matic

This season i think is a feeler for Ten Hag. To see what he needs all round.
He will need time and some more transfers.

But then again this being football, we can't rule out the possibility of a big turn around, tve the season is long

Yea, they tried. As Matic confirmed, your coach and club actually begged him to stay. He rejected them because he wanted to go meet his daddy in Rome, where he is performing.

Matic is actually better than both McTominay and Fred. Thats how laughable your fan base have become.

Fred and Mctominey are the most hated midfield duo, McFred as they are christened. I've never met a United fan who rates those two.
That's why i was even mentioning Bissoima, he alone is better than those 2 combined,

But i think Fred is the much better one. Maybe he can improve with Casimiro coming in.
The problem is he is played as a holding midfielder and he is not that.

@Wiseone and Danfo, Kom hier.

"We" have got rid of Eric Bailly.
Good decision or not?
Who is our best defender actually. Because "we" need atl good defence partnership

Poor decision. The mistreatment of Bailly is very puzzling as ironically he is the defender at the club who is best suited for the high pressing style that ETH wants to implement:

1) Bailly has electric pace - which means that the team can defend higher up the pitch and not worry about being hit with a counter-attacking ball “over the top”. Bailly’s speed means he can recover and get back. Contrast that with Maguire who has the turning speed of a cruise liner. 🚢

2) He is strong, hard, and will not get physically bullied by strong EPL center forwards like Mitrovic, Haaland, Nunez, Antonio etc. Lindelof and Martinez is a soft center in defence.

3) I think the best CD partnership for Man Utd is Varane and Bailly. Varane can be the sleek Rolls Royce defender and Bailly can be the aggressive man marking hitman.

4) The fact that Bailly is leaving the club before Jones, Lindelof, and Maguire, tells you everything wrong with Man Utd.

The continued employment of Maguire and Lindelof (and recruitment of Martinez) is puzzling. I do not think either of them is even as good as the much maligned Phil Jones (or departed Chris Smalling).

Bailly should move, maybe he might be a second Pogba and Manu come signing him for the second time
at better terms than he is getting now. I am sure Bissouma is regreting signing for spurs and warming the
bench, he was exciting playing in the CL, how is he going to feature when he is not deemed got enough against
an opponent as wolves, the more he is warming the more his stock is going down and it will be difficult for another
big club asking for his service.

Bissouma will play. Conte is slowly introducing him. You should focus more on United.

Tbh I am confused at how Bailly's career has died at United. Warning for certain players.

The 60 million fee for Casemiro is the second highest transfer fee ever paid for a player aged over 30. Ronaldo is the only other player over 30 who cost more.

Ronaldo and Maguire dropped from the first 11, and ETH persists with the 5’9 “central defender”. Line-up is:

DDG
Dalot-Varane-Martinez-Malacia
Eriksen-McTominay
Fernandes
Elanga-Rashford-Sancho

Eriksen as a deep lying midfielder is extremely risky. McTominay is the only defensive minded player outside the back 4. Malacia v Salah? Dalot v Luis Diaz? That starting 11 is far too open. This could be be another shellacking.

...Liverpool weak link is on the right. Alexander-arnold is not fast enough for Sancho and Elanga running at him. Meanwhile, I think Malacia is doing good work on Salah,
