Ronny will get his 20 goals for sure, but not before losing his Roy of the Rovers status. Suffice to say, much like his arch rival, a team must play towards him to witness his Super Saiyan. Outside of the Manchester derbies, are United ever pressaholics? Truth be told, more pressing’s taken place on Bamidele’s crumpled school shirt, Westminster Boys, 1997.

What I have been saying for over 2 years… 👇🏾
wiseone wrote: Wed Aug 21, 2019 8:14 pm I cannot believe I am backing up BigPokey, but...

you can usually tell how much a football fan really understands the game by their view of players like Carrick and Ruben Neves. Man Utd have a Michael Carrick sized hole in the midfield. They have been crying out for a player who: (a) has good enough technique and composure to receive the ball deep in his own half under pressure, turn, and relieve pressure from the team by playing an incisive and accurate pass 20-30 yards up the field; and (b) keep and recycle possession and play through balls to the attackers.

Ruben Neves is probably the best DM exponent of (a) and (b) above in the Premier League. He is the nearest thing to Carrick in the EPL right now and his passing has pin-point accuracy. This assist to Diego Jota last season was probably the pass/assist of the season:

...AND he played that ball under pressure in the last minute of the game to give his team a 4-3 win.

I don't think Ruben Neves is that good.
he is only 22 years old, scored 12 goals for Wolves , 10 of those goals from outside the box, part of the Portuguese squad
Nice stats but his overall game doesn't do much for me. Clean striker of the ball though.
he is one of the best passers in that squad..top free kick taker . the guy is a QB passer...you have no clue about Neves...

Ole dropped Pogba, and theres no difference.
It just doesn't matter who he plays in midfield, the effect is the same, this squad is poorly coached.

Liverpool, European Champions 2005.

We watched this very boring video, 500 times, of Sacchi doing defensive drills, using sticks and without the ball, with Maldini, Baresi and Albertini. ...wow, they come from 2 down to 3-2 win. Someone must have lit some hot fire on their rear end at break time.
Meanwhile Chelsea molesting their opponent.

This is where Ole starts hurling eggs at our faces, when his back is against the wall.

Very unpredictable this United, we don't know what they have in store for us Sunday.

Anyway we enjoy football

Man United has a squad good enough to win the CL if well coached but it seems Ole is having some issues.

Yup. A substitute bench that includes Pogba, Cavani, Sancho, Donny van de Beek, Bailly is no joke and definitely up there even with the likes a slow ageing Mata and Matic, Jesse Lingard (we saw his ability last season at West Ham), Diogo Dalot (did well at AC Milan), Dean Henderson and Alex Telles. Give that team to a real astute tactician and you have a real menace.

How does that likelihood change anything, or you don bet on United? It's always a W, D, or L and the better team at this point is clearly Liverpool, not even close. However, football is football :???:

...with hot Mo Salah? May not happen, instead draw. United defense is too soft and shaky.

United currently being skinned alive by Pool at Old Trafford.
Everything that Scholes said is happening
Ole keeps trusting mistake prone defenders

Long afternoon ahead
