Playing on the counter with zip zero pace in the lineup. If Ole GunnarSuofia was intent on bolstering the back line, why not tuck in a couple roadrunners? And surely there could’ve been a more attacking option at right wingback, Aaron Nwa-Bisaka isn’t the most adventurous on the front foot.

Shades of Matt Skelton vs Michael Sprott, two big swingers, bald heads and potbellies. 4 pints apiece, pie and chips at the final bell.

Should 3-4-1-2 remain? Or should the team revert to 4-2-3-1?

It should stay.

Far from a tactical masterstroke, that was arguably the most defensively inclined Man United ever. Should the system remain, perhaps, but not without a change in personnel. What on earth has happened to Jaylexis Sanchoz? Obvious answer, Old man Ronny, but surely there's more to come from the mega million dollar man that indentations in the memory foam subs bench?

Ronaldo made a wiser move than Messi who was trying to Karl Malone himself into the Lakers(PSG).

Baily is at least two Maguires. Too bad he is injury prone.

Manchester Ronaldo United. Without CR7 we are nothing. Ole should hand over a check to CR7 after every game.

...he was limping during 1st half but kept going, probably reason why coach don't play him.

Dude saved us many times. He left useless Maguire behind him and we took that second goal. Bailly

How bad do some players have to play before they get dropped from the team? Right now it is harder to get dropped from the first 11 than it is to get into it! Maguire has been absolutely dire for the past month (at least) yet Bailly has been sitting on the bench for 18 months to accommodate him.

Bailly was excellent last night and without his last ditch blocks, Man U would have lost to Atalanta. There was a moment in the second half (after he once again intercepted a dangerous cross that was caused by his team mates giving the ball away in dangerous territory) when Bailly cut out a cross, looked at the ground ruefully and just shook his head in disgust. He did not even bother to berate Cavani (who gave the ball away). It was almost as if he was saying to himself “how many times must I put my body on the line to keep saving these guys from their tragi-comic mistakes?”

...about Maguire, you dare not say that or why, because if you do people will say to not even go there. Some players have that privilege.

The failure to bench calamity Maguire one of the things that make Ole a sub standard manager.
Maybe he is under instructions from high up to make sure he always picks the British players.
Because Maguire was given the captain's armband soon as he arrived from Leicester.

United usually turn up early for the derby, would come as no surprise were the ragtag Reds to counter City to death. Sit deep, big back 5, raking route ones out of the back for the evergreens to run on to.

Must win for both teams.

Couple quid on a penalty. Red, why not, it’s Xmas.
