Ogbuefi Scipio, you see that this is not unique to African players. I mean imagine doing this in a crunch game at a crunch opportunity to kill the game. :sneaky:

That said, Liverpool defense held off Haaland and co today.

He can be. He has specific triggers and one of them is what he sees as clear fouls that even a blind man should see but somehow missed or considered fair play by the ref and/or his assistants.

Year after year, since Rafa first complained about him, the PL keeps appointing Anthony Taylor to ref LFC games vs the Manchester teams.

An absolute disgrace to the profession

Liverpool, European Champions 2005.

We watched this very boring video, 500 times, of Sacchi doing defensive drills, using sticks and without the ball, with Maldini, Baresi and Albertini. We used to think before then that if the other players are better, you have to lose. After that we learned anything is possible – you can beat better teams by using tactics." Jurgen Klopp

Not true. We have seen and we see similar boneheaded plays and decision-making from all countries. It comes down to the player's (or players') quality, experience and mental strength. Yes, the frequency varies from division to division, league to league, and country to country. But this is exactly why it has more to do with the quality of the players and the other attributes I mentioned rather than due to some inherent or unique national characteristics.

He just needs to calm down a bit and stop rushing things in the final third. He will come thru
You can see from his movement that he gets into good positions.

Not quite the 3-2, half-time, full-time and lo the handsome windfall bobs, weaves, shoulder rolls with Mayweatheresque precision. Still a few quid up for the win at 29/10 on.

Surprised City left 1 vs 1 on an attacking setpiece. Bold. Very.

Total ewu. I hope he turns good as time goes on, but so far he has shown that he needs more grey matter.
