This is going places. The German model might be on the table.
These clubs have miscalculated big time.
This will have seismic effect on the future of football.
Very stupid move.
WTF did they expect?
His advisers have told him that siding with the fans is a popular thing to do. No football club wants to upset their govt. They could introduce legislation to ban foreign ownership.
You’re so on point.
Trust a politician to jump on the bandwagon.
What a gross miscalculation by these foolish arrogant owners.
Look at a guy like Woodward who United fans have wanted
out 4ever basically writing his own ticket outta town and out of a
plum UEFA job. These people are so outta touch.

They should deduct 10 points each to the top 6 teams.

The whole ESL launch is laughable, its seems club owners in only 3 Countries decided to suddenly create a league with no consultation with their fans,, Managers, Government etc. with 6 English who forgot Brexit as well some thinking they that big and also forgot that the Government would be the one issuing work permits for the foreign players that they would badly need. No Dutch, Portugal, Belgium, German, French etc. clubs in the league and them thinking they can continue playing in their respective domestic league. Seriously this seem doomed from the start and I can't believe that the owners were this naïve to attempt such a move.

There are fans and there are hardcore fans. I heard of a fan who wouldn't let a breakdown service touch/ help him fix his car that was broken down on the motorway cause they were the sponsors of his team rivals and was adamant in not accepting with the wife in the car as well.

Really?
I wonder if they joined in for status, along with Chelsea,
rather than just money. We know the Americans at Arsenal, United and Liverpool are ... whatever no need to waste further server space here.
They have grossly underestimated the outrage and push back

Ahh nice work Chief.
I suspected and mentioned before that they might’ve
been drawn in by mostly
the lure of “status” and not solely money like some of the others.
