Germany tried but France was the better side. Very clinical with Benz and Pogba.

This is some serious home cooking for Germany, almost 8 mins of injury time. :tic:

First time I see 2 minutes added to additional whooping 6 minutes. Is UEFA up to something.

No, right at the 90th minute, a French defender went down and took about 2 minutes of the already set 6 minutes. So adding 2 minutes was the right thing and not a "UEFA up to something" thing.

I'm happy France won and I am hoping they go all the way.

Germany could have got something out of this game but were out of ideas in the final third.
Also, uncharacteristically poor at set pieces.

I don’t see France winning this cup but you never say never.

For real. And it is inexplicable considering his previous quality standard.

Harvetz is so overrated, Ozil is miles better than this clown. How did Chelsea paid a record fee for this clown?

Match looks like it's being played at St Denis.

This is an easy call. Portugal will find a way to lose to the Germans, like they always do. It is like with us and Argentina, we always find a way to lose to even their worst team in 20 years.

I doubt Germany are worried about Portugal.

Na coaching..Harvetz is not a playmaker , neither is Gundogan . He then tried to have Kroos create from behind that and that did not work.

Close game, in score and effort.

But some effort is mere entropy..

France, on a different level. Tactically, untouched by Germany.

Some serious power, so much the ever taciturn Deschamps can allow opponents punch themselves out...

Liverpool, European Champions 2005.

We watched this very boring video, 500 times, of Sacchi doing defensive drills, using sticks and without the ball, with Maldini, Baresi and Albertini. We used to think before then that if the other players are better, you have to lose. After that we learned anything is possible – you can beat better teams by using tactics." Jurgen Klopp
