‘Arry’s army will do it “3 the hard way”. Roll on Allez Les Bleu allez. Ngolo, Ngolo, Kante! x4, allez Les Bleu allez. Avez-vous un two pints of lager and a packet of crisps? Bosh! It’s coming home.

I think Kane wants to leave Tottenham so badly he is devaluing his price for Manchester city

Kane should be dropped immediately with extreme prejudice. Southgate should switch to a false nine system which will allow his young speedy midfielders to run riot. But e no go happen. Kane seems to be undroppable.

Wha choo looking at?!

It looks like Scotland have played their Euro finals
They always turn it on against England
Watch them fold against Croatia
For my sceptical Nigerian Friends : Pessimism is great because you are either always right or pleasantly surprised.

One reason why I don't mind selling him and Son. Good players but disappear from most big games. Perhaps it is due to marking but those two miss some seriously clear cut chances.

Its a Goal wrote: Fri Jun 18, 2021 9:04 pm There is no creative player in the England team. Phillips that caused Croatia lots of problems is playing within himself.
Foden, Sancho, Grealish? Even Phillips is being misused.

Billy Gilmour with a Kante-like perfomance.

Billy G recovered well, was treading water early in the first-half, brilliant recovery.

England could learn a thing or two from watching Germany's fullbacks destroy Portugal yesterday. On top of the above incident with Sterling and James, there was another funny moment where Grealish came inside from the left and passed to (what he thought was) Luke Shaw overlapping on the flank, but was actually an English substitute on the sidelines. This aspect of their game was very odd and asks questions of the coach.

Far be it for me to start defending Traitor boy Southgate but how can that bonehead play by Grealish be his fault?

Grealish was 'boneheaded' in that had he been paying attention beforehand he might've known that Shaw was likely in a deeper position, like he and James had been throughout the game. My point is that Shaw should've been overlapping there and received that pass. Instead he and James were positioned relatively deep in a game where Scotland's setup afforded them a lot of space that could've been used to switch play and shift Scotland around - hence my Germany reference. I think this comes from the coach because it was the same in the Croatia game with different fullbacks (Walker and Trippier); it made a bit more sense there due to Croatia's fast counterattackers, but Scotland OTOH had little to trouble England in this regard so I don't know why they were so conservative.
