Over 20 years ago another nation severely underestimated Denmark. The English should be wary.

Chief, those who know me recognize that I do not run even when I lose a battle. I am like the legions of Rome, or the Red Army, or the People's Liberation Army of North Vietnam. It is when you think you have defeated me that I come out and fight harder.
Anyway, if Ingerlund win, I will be a man and come here to congratulate you. And then tell you it is the last time it will happen for the next 100 years.
Gini? Wetin happun to Sir Alf Ramsey? Sir Alf actually won a World Cup, not the junior broda Euro.
Southgate already took them to THREE semifinals. WC, Nations cup and now EURO! That's a massive achievement considering England's previous achievements
Chief, winning The Big One is what counts, not moral victories. It does not matter whether you do it home advantageously or wuruwuruishly.

Re: Ominous signs for the ABEG club
I just think you are trying so hard to find a way to hate on England. Mourinho is a paid pundit on TalkSport and he is allowed to give his opinion on the English players. Luke Shaw may not like what he has to say and he is equally free to speak his mind about it. What hate is there to be about it? Unless you want to say players from other nations don't speak out about a previous manager commenting on them then I don't see why you should be mad at Shaw.Cristao II wrote: ↑Tue Jul 06, 2021 5:20 pm Another one. Luke Shaw is now being compared to Roberto Carlos and insults being thrown at Jose Mourinho

When people ask why there is ABEG. It is primarily because of the English media.
Jose Mourinho's comments on Luke Shaw are below.
What was so insulting in Jose's comments that the media and Luke Shaw suggested that Jose was stalking him? These are Luke's comments.“For me, Shaw has played well, better than in the first match, took more risks, didn’t make mistakes. For me, he is not a guy to take set pieces or be in the box to win a duel in the air,”
“He is very fast and a perfect position is to stay back on corners to cope with transitions. But maybe Gareth needed a left foot or he did something very good in training that we didn’t see in the game. But no drama.
“Maybe against Germany he takes an amazing corner and England win from that. Fantastic. Shaw is a solid player, not making big mistakes, much more focused and concentrated.
He covers the space inside very well now which was something we started working on. He is a good left back with a level to be where he is. I just wish him good at the club but especially good in the national team.”
I sincerely hope that a team takes the 3 Lions out.It is time to move on. I am trying to move on but, obviously, he can’t.”
He continuously talks about me, which I find quite strange. Even some of the lads have said: ‘What’s his problem?’ and: ‘Why does he keep talking?’ He just needs to move on.
“Hopefully he can find his peace with that and finally move on and stop worrying about me. Clearly I am in his head a lot and he clearly thinks about me a lot.”
2 of the finest indigenous coaches Nigeria ever had lost in a space of 4 days. Dear Lord, is this a sign that you are taking away from us what we failed to appreciate? I pray for forgiveness of our sins. I pray for the humility to recognize our wrongs and the humbleness and wisdom to right our ways.

Maybe too high a mountain for Danes. Should be interesting...
Form is temporary; Class is Permanent!
Liverpool, European Champions 2005.
We watched this very boring video, 500 times, of Sacchi doing defensive drills, using sticks and without the ball, with Maldini, Baresi and Albertini. We used to think before then that if the other players are better, you have to lose. After that we learned anything is possible – you can beat better teams by using tactics." Jurgen Klopp

Re: Ominous signs for the ABEG club - DEFCON 2
Good deserved win yesterday, Sterling is grossly underrated and yes Kane is the exact opposite.

Haters gon hate.
I hope they beat Italy.
Yeah, soft pen but other countries have benefited from such in the past and there are many nations with diving experts in their rank.
The English have suffered from such bad decisions in the past as well, we all admire the so called "Hand Of God" goal, but heck, it's against the English so that don't count.
Without the likes of England winning, how can there be hope for nations who are not part of the "usual suspects"?
Why should we expect Nigeria to succeed against top teams if all we ever crave is the maintenance of the status quo?

Do Africans from French speaking Africa carry the same kind of beef for France that Nigerians (and maybe Ghanaians) have for Ingerland?
Maybe Camex and Makanaky can tell us.

Not really, they see themselves as an extension of France. Also locally I don't think many hold this same beef for England.

I was indifferent towards England when I lived in Naija. I didn’t support them but I wasn’t an ABEG extremist as I am today.

The only football beef I ever have is for any team dominating.
So at various times, I 'beefed' Brazil, Germany, Liverpool, Man U, Barcelona and Cameroun.
As soon as they lost their dominance, I reverted to 'neutra'l or even supported them.
Right now, its Man City.
Same with Schumacher in F1 and when I was too young to understand the racial politics, Muhammed Ali.
Actually wanted Foreman to beat him.
