You've seen the teams on the green grass and know the round of 16 fixtures.

Who is going to win di whole ting?

This is the first recent major tournament where I have little idea of who will win it.
That said, I fancy the Italians. But it's the Euros and they peaked early.

Keeping in mind that it's the Euros where slow starters win (WC too), I consider Denmark (they've done it before in a tournament they gate crashed), Czech Republic, Spain and Croatia to have a good chance.

You never rule out Germany and to a less degree France.

Bottom line, right now, barring any refereeing snafus, I fancy Italy vs Croatia in the Final.

France though favourite won't win the thing. I just don't see the hunger. Matuodis hard running is missed and I love Benzema but sometimes he fluffs his lines too much. Yes Deschamps has won it before but this time I can't see the team carrying itself without him costing it

France was ill prepared. Though honestly few teams were.
Spain's preparation story was a bit painful to read.

Italy is fluid because they have been building for awhile.

Looks like it's down to Italy, Czech Republic, Spain and a country that will remain unnamed for now...

The Czechs are the European in a 100M final. No chance.

Italy have peaked already, if not at the hands of the Belgians, they’ll be clobbered thereafter.

As for Spain, Juan’s not the matter, it’s a matter of Morata. Doesn’t have the Harry necessary to go the extra yard.

The Belgians are destined to squander a golden generation.

The only team for formality (it coming home) to fear, are the Norsemen.

England need to step up their game.

On the contrary, England need only switch their wingbacks and its a wrap. Chilwell on the left and depending on opponent James or Jadon. Yes, Jadon! Walker is a right back at right centre, that gives Gareth the balance to go a little braver on the right flank. Might be an “if in doubt” move, but certainly needs to be a card trick up the sleeve.

That said, “Pat, pop another Tetley in the teapot, the boys are off to the semis”.

This tournament's arrangement favors England too.
They probably will play two games in England before smelling the trophy.

As for Denmark, they are now playing like every game is their last. Not because they might go home early but because they now realize that this literally could be their last game ever. They are also ready to die a little on the pitch.
That makes them very dangerous opponents.
