Italy in hot okra soup as the Spanish are running rings around them.

like I expected, this game has no favorites going in
Form is temporary; Class is Permanent!
Liverpool, European Champions 2005.

We watched this very boring video, 500 times, of Sacchi doing defensive drills, using sticks and without the ball, with Maldini, Baresi and Albertini. We used to think before then that if the other players are better, you have to lose. After that we learned anything is possible – you can beat better teams by using tactics." Jurgen Klopp

I like the standard of officiating standard in this tournament. No soft freekicks. Stand on your feet and play.

Says who? Pundits and CE alike have all but given the Cup to Italy as they expect this match to be a mere formality.

Spain will mess around and lose this game if they don't learn to finish, so frustrating to watch.

I won't be surprised if Italy end up spanking them, so annoying how they can keep so much of the ball and miss simple chances...

Its a young Spain team that is proving to be ahead on the planned development curve.

Italy's forced them to step up the intensity of their passing game and we are seeing the quality one didnt think existed...

Italy need to be a little more patient in the build up I think. Let it stew a little bit more in MF with Jorginho

These two teams have freakish speed considering their normal
Physical pedigree. The quickness of feet and thought are scary good.

Old school Italy would usually score and lock the gate
But let’s see what Azzurri 2021 can do to hold a lead

That shot by Chiesa to make it 1-0 seems to be an Italian special. Wrap the ball around the foot and curve to the far post. Same shot that Insigne used to make it 2-0 against Belgium. Same shot that Del Piero used to make it 2-0 against Germany in 2006 semi final..
