2021/2022 Spurs Season: PL - 4th; ECL - GP STG; FAC - RD 5; CC - SM

It is a season of new beginnings:
Director of Football: Fabio Paraticini has come in and he is expected to ring the changes around Tottenham. Considered a workaholic who doesn't have time to sleep, he has already made his presence felt with some major departures and new additions. He is going to be the buffer between Levy and the fans as he will be held accountable for acquisitions that don't work out.
New Manager: Nuno Espirito Santo has taken charge of the club with a 2 year contract. Obviously not the first choice but one that the DoF is highly in favor of. My fear is that he won't get off to a great start when the season starts and that will immediately put him under pressure.
Departures: As of now Spurs has sold Eric Lamela, Paulo Gazzaniga, Juan Foyth, and Danny Rose. It is likely more players will be headed out as there is a expected to be a major clearout. Toby Alderweireld, potential on a move to Qatar, will be another great player to no longer be a part of Spurs' future.
Inbound: Spurs has acquired 2 players already in Bryan Gil, a winger, and Pierluigi Gollini, a goalie. Other targets being lined are Cristian Romero, a CB, Caleta-Car, another defender, Anthony Martial, and Danny Ings.
Contract Extension: It is heart warming to see that Son has signed his new contract that will keep him at the club until 2026. Others will follow suit as he is very much liked in the club and his mates want to play with him. His extension also serves as a signal to the club's ambition to retain the talents that will push to the club to greater heights.
Harry Kane: The rumor mills has been in overdrive ever since Kane gave an interview where he said he will like to win something. They have claimed it means he wants to leave and The Sun even stupidly reported that Man City was ready to doll 160 million for him. But as Nuno and Fabio have stated Kane has a contract with the club and they do not want him to leave. As of yet there is no indication that Spurs will entertain any offers for him as he is seen as the future of the club and the one to steer the club to win something this season.

Never said we need Marital. He is just part of the players linked to Spurs.
It is not confirmed Toby has left the building. Sad to see him go as Eric Dier is the one most fans want to see the back of.

Farewell Toby. You were part of the best defensive pair I had seen for Spurs since Ledley King plus Woodgate. I thank you for your time and wish you well in Qatar. Have fun!!

Getting impressed. Spurs is a much bigger organization than the one of almost two decades ago. What we are seeing is people dedicated to a role doing that role.
The CFO guy has just renewed the Kumo sponsorship, is lining up training kit/ground sponsorship and working on Stadium naming rights
Paratici has got a manager, goalkeeper, LW, and is working on CB (x2?), RB while also moving on Sanchez, Sissoko, Hart, Aurier, likely Winks. He has moved on Toby, Lamela, Gazzaniga.
Tomiyasu & Gil are smart purchases, will they all work out = no, but young, promising players trying to prove themselves has been a good model for us in the past.

All the above has no value on this negotiation. City and Kane have to find a way to drop 140 to 160m for Daniel Levy.

And they will drop it, dont worry about that! And like the Bale deal, your CURSED club will waste it on sh1t players and like Bale, Kane will win multiple titles and Spurs will remain trophyless and CURSED!Cristao II wrote: ↑Mon Aug 02, 2021 2:00 pm All the above has no value on this negotiation. I really don't know why Levy don't want to sell him if he's adamant he wants to go. Levy will not pay top Dollar to resource the team. No matter how much the top teams spend, only one can win the league. The rest are just wasting money chasing other crumps.Cristao II wrote: ↑Mon Aug 02, 2021 2:00 pm All the above has no value on this negotiation. So get as much money for Kane and let him go. The Lane awaits a new name
