Chelsea is no longer Chelski. Your recruitment has suffered. The gist was Chelsea had a good work environment. They now have a different vibe with the new owners and the restrictive style of the coach. No striker, defense need help. Players e now rejecting Chelsea.
Winners do it the right way.

It seems like Chelsea fell fast asleep during the deal and Barcelona sneaked it, that's going by what Monchi said

No one is asking for sympathy. Chelsea had doubts and did not continue with getting Jules. Whatever the reason.

I don't get why assnal CE spammers are so worked up over players not bought by Chelsea. This isn't like how they lost Hleb, Henry , Viera etc to Barca , Juve etc.. we know assnal is a feeder club for City and Barca. Did jules ever wear a Chelsea kit? Was he ever a Chelsea player?

Chelsea were just recently allowed to buy players a few months ago. The club was dealing with major issues due to the sanctions.

Who cares if they miss out on targets. All I know this team will Challenge pool and city. Compared to the others, especially that one wey never smell champs league in 6 seasons

Carney Chukwuemeka: Chelsea agree deal to sign Aston Villa midfielder for £20m
Last updated on2 hours ago2 hours ago.
From the sectionChelsea
Chelsea have reached an agreement to sign Aston Villa teenager Carney Chukwuemeka for £20m.

The midfielder, 18, was left out of Villa's pre-season tour to Australia after refusing to sign a new contract, which expires next summer.

Chukwuemeka, who starred for England in their Under-19 European Championship triumph last month, made 12 Premier League appearances for Villa last term.

He would become Chelsea's third signing of the summer.

La Liga giants Barcelona, Serie A champions AC Milan and Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund were all linked with Chukwuemeka.

Chelsea's deal can be seen as a coup as he is one of the Premier League's brightest young prospects.

The Blues and Villa both confirmed Chukwuemeka has been given permission to travel to London to discuss personal terms and undergo a medical.

Villa boss Steven Gerrard said last month the player had not signed a new deal which "has been in place for some time now" after leaving him out of the tour down under.

Chelsea have already brought in England international Raheem Sterling from Manchester City for £50m and Senegal defender Kalidou Koulibaly from Napoli for £34m.

Boss Thomas Tuchel is still keen to further strengthen the Stamford Bridge side. He is interested in signing Marc Cucurella after Brighton ended discussions with Manchester City over the sale of the Spanish left-back.

Barca was never interested in Chukwuemeka, it is becoming the norm
to associate Barcelona with almost every player in the transfer market
to some clubs or agents it is a means to raise the value of the player
to some like chelski fans it is satisfaction to have finally beaten Barca to
a signing.
