Havertz header. Hopefully we can defend the lead.

wiseone wrote: Sun Jan 15, 2023 3:55 pm Chelsea is an utter mystery of a club. 2.5 years ago they bought 7 excellent players in one transfer window: Havertz, Ziyech, Pulisic, Werner, Chilwell, Mendy, and Thiago Silva. They strengthened every position in the team, hoovered up the best young talent in Europe from Germany 🇩🇪 and Holland 🇳🇱, and had excellent young players from their academy coming into the first team: Mount, Abraham, James, Tomori, Loftus-Cheek, Hudson-Odoi, Gallagher etc.

I remember thinking that Chelsea had guaranteed the future of their team for the next 10 years and it was only a matter of time before rhey started collecting trophies 🏆 like a hobby.

What happened?

Were you around when Chelsea Army (including the loan army) invaded Ukraine?

You are right. I forgot that Havertz and Ziyech are Russian fighter pilots, and that Thiago Silva, Gallagher, and Mount are Russian infantry soldiers. All of them are currently fighting in Ukraine. That is why none of them is playing in today's game.

You got the point. The team was pushed into chaos. Most of the players you listed are no more playing for Chelsea, and the few remaining dipped in performance. A new rebuild is on right now.

I will be the first to agree, Chelsea should be doing better than the current status.

Your players are out of form and low on confidence. You cant expect them to perform at a high level... what you need is for them to drag themselves out of the slump and build their confidence back.

I heard Chelsea tripled his wage. If that is true, he is as good as good. Edu at Arsenal is a slow negotiator. Arsenal would’ve been playing in the CL this season had he not fumbled the signing of Vhlahovic and Douglas Luiz last January.
this is the problem i have with you. you enjoy spreading false narratives. Why can't you research instead of being a voyeur. this is the problem with assanal fans
BP24,

You are really a trashy fella. So if I hear something I’m not allowed to share it. Did I say for a fact that Chelsea tripled his wage? Since you did your research, please tell us how how much it took to sign him including wages and agent fees since you know it all.

If truth be told, other than the Raphinha signing with Barca, whenever a deal is hijacked last minute, it’s because a higher transfer fee, better payment structure and/or wage is offered. Mudryk was twerking on social media on how much he loves Arsenal and now he’s a Chelsea player. You’re an Arsenal hater anyway. Enjoy finishing below Arsenal

With dipped performances. They need cheer leaders to get back in sync.
