Re: Chelsea FC- News, Developments & Season
clubs will not get affected due to winter break and timing of games in the EPL, Mane and Salah will only miss 2 EPL games for pool. Mendy may miss just 2 games( city , SPurs )Sleaky72 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 18, 2021 3:16 am Looks like the African cup of nations could decide the winners of the premier league in favor of the rich kids from Manchester.
Just don’t see how Liverpool can maintain their dominance without Mane and Salah, and Chelsea continue to grind out results without Mendy’s heroics.

Although I aged about 5 years in the last 20 minutes of the Brentford game, I have so much faith in this team. It is grinding out results even with the scrubs in the team. Chelsea is still not in the best shape it could be just yet. When everyone is back healthy, the style of play will be better as well. The YeyeMan wrote: ↑Sun Oct 17, 2021 10:30 pmWhat are your thoughts on this team - it reminds me a bit of Mourinho at Real Madrid.balo wrote: ↑Sun Oct 17, 2021 4:47 pmWe went home with the three points with a makeshift defense. The YeyeMan wrote: ↑Sat Oct 16, 2021 10:07 pm Chelsea celebrating that game like they've won the league.
Chelsea fans, do you enjoy watching this team play? Genuinely curious.
Better than the years when teams like Burnley completed the double on Chelsea.

I saw an interesting article online. Is it true Kai Havertz is yet to make a pass to Romelu Lukaku on the pitch. It is laughable if true.

Sarr, Trevor and Christensen where very comfortable with balls played on the ground. But they struggled with the long throw and other set piece plays where the ball was lumped into the 18. Teams like Brentford and Burnley make me lose my taste for the game...
You love teams like Watford
At least they try to play football....

We watched this very boring video, 500 times, of Sacchi doing defensive drills, using sticks and without the ball, with Maldini, Baresi and Albertini. We used to think before then that if the other players are better, you have to lose. After that we learned anything is possible – you can beat better teams by using tactics." Jurgen Klopp

And the Bretford that you watched did not play football? Interesting. How many goals did they score against Liverpool again? How many shots on target did they have against Chelsea? All by not trying to play football?

Bretford was 'kicking' the ball and it entered Pool's net 3 times! That's some KICKING
