Offer from Real Madrid to PSG for Mbappé: 160 million

Post by txj »

El Real Madrid has taken its first step . Waiting so far, watching from a distance but without losing sight of the situation of Kylian Mbappé at PSG, without accepting the renewal offers, the club chaired by Florentino Pérez has taken a step forward.

As MARCA has learned, Real Madrid has already contacted the Parisian club to launch its first offer for the gala star. 160 million euros , a figure that they consider more than reasonable for a player who in just over four months can negotiate at no cost, since his contract ends in 2022.

Real Madrid see €160m Kylian Mbappe offer rejected by PSG - sources

Real Madrid have launched a €160 million offer to sign Kylian Mbappe, which has been immediately rejected by Paris Saint-Germain, different sources have told ESPN.

Sources close Real Madrid admit to ESPN that the negotiations will be difficult but they still hope to convince PSG to agree a deal before the transfer window ends on Aug. 31.

Meanwhile, other sources in France suggest to ESPN that Madrid would need to raise the offer to €200m to have a chance of completing the signing.

Mbappe's contract at PSG expires next summer and he has made it clear, despite repeated approaches from the club, that he does not intend to renew.

PSG believed that the arrival of Lionel Messi could change the 22-year-old's mind, but that has not transpired.

ESPN reported last September that Madrid were laying the groundwork for a move for Mbappe this summer but were treading carefully to avoid angering PSG.

As has been expected all summer.

Next year, they intend to add Haaland-- who rejected Chelsea because of his "agreement" with Real Madrid.

Mbape's major asset is speed. After that, how much better is he than Benzema?
I guess RM needs to sell some Mbape shirts.

Why waste your time. Sometimes, its good to just read someone's post and immediately recognize the nonsense you are reading.

The biggest club in the world has a 33 year old and this one is saying that they should continue to play him for 60 games and not do anything to improve their squad. When PSG had Neymar, Mbappe, Icardi etc etc and still went and brought in Messi, we no hear "pim"! Others are in the market, no pim! Now someone is saying Madrid should just sitdown with their 33 year old. Arrant nonsense!

I don’t blame PSG. They have given Mbappe everything he has ever asked for and more. If he can’t commit to them, then they are right to sell him now.
