As it stands now (and I doubt there will be major changes - although Cameroon's win vs Cote d'Ivoire and Nigeria's draw vs Cape Verde could see Cameroon leapfrog Nigeria into the top 5).

SEEDS: Senegal, Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Nigeria
NON-SEEDS: Egypt, Ghana, Mali, Cameroon, DRCongo

On a side note: ALL THE POT 1 TEAMS WON THEIR RESPECTIVE GROUPS!

how can Cameroon leap frog the SE , Egypt are the right next to naija.. and both won and drew their last games

the points in ranking are too much... the top 5 may not change ..however if the rankings are done after AFCON , then that is a different ball game

here is the probably rankings for Nov

I think the point is Cameroon beat a higher ranked team but the points gap is too much for them to break into the top 5.

Yep. But of all the teams that won their last game, Cameroon will gain the most points as they defeated a higher-ranked team while the others defeated lower-ranked teams. So it is possible that Cameroon will leapfrog Ghana. Having said that, they are too far behind to threaten our 5th position.

I envision tears and anguish following the playoffs.

But Ghana played a lower ranked team than Cameroon. And drew a game, while Cameroon had two wins.

Yeah, too much, but according to here they leapfrogged Ghana and are just behind Egypt at 7th.

Whenever a new coach is hired the players always try to impress. Hopefully, in three months the players form will be excellent and the moral very high. The final rounds will be played after the ANC championships and there shouldn't be any excuse not to beat any opponents then.
But everything depends on a new coach. Rohr's time is up. He must go!!
