Intelligent pass and move will make any defense look poor and as I type Cameroon scores a beauty! to equalize!
AGREED

Game very spirited. So much for the oppressive tropical weather. How could this same Ethiopian team lose to what doormat?

Onana is seriously suspect, if Ethiopia take more long shots they might have a chance

The Quality has been very high so far by all teams. No truly disappointing games or performances.
All those dissing the AFCON so far as boring dont know football. The first round of games, most teams showed significant defensive awareness tactical organization. Its continuing into the 2nd rounds. The goals will follow.

Really enjoying this AFCON.

They play good passing football but are very naive
THERE GOES MY HOPE WHICH WAS...

...not to read/hear the word "naive" used in connection with this tournament. That is a "go-to" word routinely used by mostly lazy European commentators. Shouldn't be used loosely here.

Seriously?

Liverpool, European Champions 2005.

We watched this very boring video, 500 times, of Sacchi doing defensive drills, using sticks and without the ball, with Maldini, Baresi and Albertini. We used to think before then that if the other players are better, you have to lose. After that we learned anything is possible – you can beat better teams by using tactics." Jurgen Klopp

Cameroon lack balance from introducing Chupo Moting.
If you are going to use him in a 3-4-3, perhaps you should look to control the game more, rather than the end to end stuff.

They are wide open...
