No faking, it seems he is injured due to the pitch.
...no blame pitch. Watch him see that his goose was cooked as he helplessly looked at ball on the feet of Sierra Leone guy.

Civ have nobody to blame but themselves. Wasted too many chances. This is why the Afcon remains my favourite tournament, ahead of the world cup proper. See heart and passion

If Civ finishes 3rd we could end up playing them.

Did you see how the field caught his knee? Haba it looks funny but when you actually see what happened you realize it’s actually an embarrassment of the quality of the facilities provided to play on. He couldn’t move cuz he just jarred his knee…

The pitch just dey fall apart left and right. Didn’t help the goalie but he still should’ve handled the situation better.

Really? Just how did the pitch prevent him from executing a simple play.

Ish happens. Just credit Sierra-Leone.

By making a normally simple play very un-simple. Go and watch the replays.

So you didn’t see the grass give way and his knee get caught on the hardened surface beneath it? Whatever doesn’t consign me but we really need to improve our facilities to proper standards…

yes, very harsh, when you're running after the ball, i would assume the last thing you expect is the ground to come out from underneath your feet.

...yep, he goofed and hurt himself, if there were really an injury. Truly a simple execution, or let the ball go for corner.

The ground didn't give way when he was running, he injured himself when he caught the ball, then spilled it. I can't really blame the turf. Just a freak incident all round. Hope he gets better.

He tried to slide on it with his knees as keepers normally do to smother the ball and that’s where the ground gave way on his right knee, so seems you didn’t really see what happened…wait for the highlights of the game.
