I hope Ghana and the whole of Africa stop this inferiority complex and stop giving no name oyibos jobs where you know the same white man will not treat a black man like that. Just look at the NFL how every black coach is the last hired and first fired even when you have a good record.

Is that not the same coach from their golden years? It's a desperate attempt to bring back the nostalgic times, but Ghana's issues of late are more than just about coaching.

Looked like a desperate hire for Ghana after firing their last coach, they literally brought Milo out of his retirement home in Serbia to come manage the team when he hadn't coached a team in years...pretty much an old wine in new bottle situation

12yrs after WC 2010 a 40yr old Gyan is still their best striker. Just shows that talent discovery is not a constant, they've gone almost a decade without any new top class talent discovery. Hope we draw then in the wcq so we can double their misery.

Ghana is actually one of the worst teams in this AFCON, I said as much after the Gabon game. That said, they have one or two gems. Idrissou and that their mixed guy from St Pauli are ballers. The rest were horrible. If you add up all 3 games by Partey, it doesn't measure to 1 over 10, he was horrible.

Can't say I'm surprised. Strange as it is I take no pleasure in watching Ghana getting knocked out. I almost feel sorry for them...almost.

Joseph Paintsil was impressive. Especially with his explosive runs from deep. I would have loved to see him run into the opponent's box with 3-4 defenders tugging at his jersey before unleashing a ferocious shot on target.

The problem is he did not play to his potential. He held back or deferred to less talented players.
Kind of representative of the whole team.

He was good in the first match. After that it was difficult for him, but I do give him a pass
