Senegal could fly under the radar and win this AFCON - The Mendy factor
Senegal are starting the AFCON in a measured way. Slow and steady, and in Mendy they have the best 'keeper at the tournament.
Even though they have only scored one goal at the tournament so far, they look like a steady, hard to beat team.
They will be very hard to beat in the knockout stages, especially not by any team that tends to miss a lot of chances. Watch out for Senegal if their attack begins to sync!

Na lie, they have been boring and lack creativity despite playing weak oppositions. They won't go far, and a goal keeper can't save a team that plays poorly.

It would be a travesty if they win, they are a boring, defensive first team

You have pretty much described most of the football tournament winners in the last 30 years, be it AFCON, Euros or World Cup.
