Form is temporary; Class is Permanent!
Liverpool, European Champions 2005.

We watched this very boring video, 500 times, of Sacchi doing defensive drills, using sticks and without the ball, with Maldini, Baresi and Albertini. We used to think before then that if the other players are better, you have to lose. After that we learned anything is possible – you can beat better teams by using tactics." Jurgen Klopp

There wasnt much there to overturn
We have been brainwashed by the Premier League that it's the best in the world. Nonsense. It's the best brand
Roy Keane: ITV 02/25/14

He says that we are currently "brainwashed" into believing that the Premier League is the best competition in the world, and that we are now a long way off dominating the Champions League again.
Gary Neville: Mirror: 12/23/14

I think Spain’s by far the best league.

OMG… VAR only shows him one angle & he validates a goal that really shouldn’t be.

Mane now has to keave because, well concussion protocols weren’t followed in the first place!

Hopefully he’s ok
IN OUR CASE, THERE IS NO TIME. NO SERIOUS COACH WILL TAKE THIS JOB

Pasamu on Monday Feb 22nd 2010 post ANC- I will repeat again, the problem with our team was never ability or personnel or even tactics . It was confidence pure and simple confidence. Amodus team had been spat upon, anything they did was dismissed as insignificant To see the team going from playing brilliant football against Egypt in the first half of their ANC group game to the cautious fear laden play against Zambia was sad.

Men, i hate to say it but I don't want Senegal to somehow fluke their way to the cup. They are an awful side and seem to get all the decisions.

EVERY single decision made there was correct.

Watch out for the red cards on African teams at the WC.

You cannot tackle like this in 2022

It was a 50/50 ball, the keeper had every right to go for it and there was a covering player. Yellow at best.

But there was no covering player.

Yes he had the right, but he HAD TO win that ball.

He did not. He was the last man.

CLEAR red card!

Is this still a fifa rule? Im pretty sure the test is more nuanced now and is not an automatic red card.

The defending player must have made contact with the ball.
The GK did not
