The JAW-DROPPING Journey of Édouard Mendy
Re: The JAW-DROPPING Journey of Édouard Mendy
...wow, he left Chelsea already?
But that was a brain-*** attempt clearance, or was it suppose to be a pass?

Re: The JAW-DROPPING Journey of Édouard Mendy
Many players have traveled that road. A change of team, system, or off the field personal problems can make a class player look unrecognisable. Examples:
Pogba - a Rolls Royce player for France and Juventus. Yet sometimes a liability at Man Utd.
Fernando Torres - a rapid devastating finisher at Atletico Madrid and Liverpool. Could not hit a barn door at Chelsea.
Shevchenko - see Torres above (and replace Atletico Madrid and Liverpool with Dinamo Kiev and AC Milan).
Eden Hazard - need I say more?

^Mendy the ball player was always a fallacy, something dreamed into phantasmic existence. Whilst not nearly Ederson or Onana, he was and hopefully still is, a tremendous shot stopper. Confidence likely to be low after last season, he’ll recover and resume normal service. Very, very good shot stopper.

Re: The JAW-DROPPING Journey of Édouard Mendy
he was never one of the best in the world. Not even close. He is a very good goalkeeper who performed fantastic for 2 years or so.
However, the goalkeeper position is one that relies on a lot of confidence. A lot! The poor guy's confidence was shattered and destroyed by the English and their press. And once that is gone, is almost impossible to get it back. You begin to doubt yourself and in that position, you cannot doubt yourself.
The saddest part of this story is that this guy is an African son, and many Africans joined the British to weck him. Today, Onana is also an African son and the British have begun to destroy him and Africans have joined in.
You guys dont get it. Chelsea and Man United are 2 of the biggest clubs in that country. They cant fathom that their best goalkeeper plays for relegation Everton an a black African has the right to play for 2 of the biggest. THAT IS THE ISSUE HERE!
We all see Maguire, who is a horrid footballer and got arrested in Greece. We all see how they protected him.
Anyway, to the Africans who have no shame or self-respect-- continue to help them destroy your brothers. After all, thats what you are ONLY good at. We all saw how you helped the to sell your family into slavery for some cheap trinkets! shameless people.

Chief, I can't agree with everything you wrote above, but you make some VERY good points.danfo driver wrote: ↑Sat Sep 23, 2023 5:11 pm he was never one of the best in the world. Not even close. He is a very good goalkeeper who performed fantastic for 2 years or so.

Re: The JAW-DROPPING Journey of Édouard Mendy
Convenient amnesia.
@Mazi, for what it’s worth, long may Oh no no, sorry, Onana make folly and blunder between the sticks. An error between the sticks, almost always means a concession. T’is not enough for a centrehalf to slip or fullback to fall, the keeper is last line of defence. Only when the keeper fails is the fiasco absolute. As a follower of the one truth faith, anything Red Mancunia is the enemy through and through. Couldn’t care less about melanocytes in such instances.
For what it’s worth, on last viewing, Bukayo Saka was blacker than midnight in Harlem. Children nowadays. Convenient amnesia.
Who knows what zoonosis afflicts the Gen Zombies?

And then he missed one penalty and they tried to destroy him. They came down on him with the worst racist vitriol! You are right, amnesia can be convenient, cant it?Coach wrote: ↑Sun Sep 24, 2023 12:20 am Convenient amnesia.
