This is called "Now you see it, now you don't" or simply "Xavi ball."

Funny thing, I cannot stand most EPL footie anymore. It's the same ol' same ol', with the occasional moment of magic. Even City is becoming monotonous and predictable. One can even guess the final score after 15 minutes of watching a game.
Calamity officiating keeps things interesting though.

Unfortunately, the "whip the cross in and pray" is contaminating other leagues too. :boo:

I am an arsenal fan but never been a big fan of the EPL at all. It's just the speed of the players which has changed but still the same

He's making much quicker strides than expected.

Plans to bring in Frank Kessie on a free. That would complete the MF and create much needed balance.

And if they get Haaland, then they are ready to go...Expectation is that they get Christensen also...

Very interesting thing he's doing in midfield with Alves to create a rectangle for stability against the counter one hand, and also to expand the possession game, building out of defence...

Liverpool, European Champions 2005.

We watched this very boring video, 500 times, of Sacchi doing defensive drills, using sticks and without the ball, with Maldini, Baresi and Albertini. We used to think before then that if the other players are better, you have to lose. After that we learned anything is possible – you can beat better teams by using tactics." Jurgen Klopp

Tuchel will be gone soon. Going for Trippier whilst trailing little Leverkusen may be the final act.

Tuchel is so overrated and his antics wears players out.

I don’t know why he didn’t go back to the system that worked last season.
The forwards have not repaid him for changing systems. And they are leaking goals at the back. Of course, injuries didn’t help.

A pragmatic coach would go back to what worked last season.

I never quite know what to make of Tuchel - he obviously knows his stuff - but I think his successes at overplayed.
