Controversial Referee Maguette Ndiaye (SEN) protected Tunisia again by robbing Mali

The controversial referee Maguette Ndiaye (SEN) that helped Tunisia to beat us at AFCON did it again today for Tunisia! Mali scored a beautiful valid goal (in my opinion) in the 4th minute. But Abdoulay Diaby’s goal was disallowed by this ref following an unclear offside position, even after viewing the VAR. Honestly, that referee needs to be investigated.

But the guy who clashed into the keeper was in an offside position when the ball was flick via the header, and his position impacted the ability of the goal keeper to challenge for the ball. Why is that controversial?

Spot on. Boneheaded play by the attacker in the offside position

Bro, check again. The ball was already in the net before he clashed into the keeper. So, how does his offside position impacts the ability of the keeper to challenge for the ball?

Its not about the ball being in the net, the keeper has to account for his presence and merely attempting to play the ball which from an offside position is an offense. Check out Rule 11 on Offsides.
