There won't be more than two R16 teams from Africa.

The only african team which has the courage to reach the semi-finals will be Cameroon.

Africa will do as Africa does at the European World Cup. There has been an exponential improvement in the ability of those in the upper echelon. The gap is gargantuan. All very likely to be eliminated by the final whistle of the round of 16. Fingers crossed one will break free of the stranglehold of shame.

Senegal will qualify for the next round.

The rest 3 games and home.

Uruguay will get at least 2 wins in that group. Book it.

none will make it pass rd 16. The only way CAF teams will start getting to q-finals or semis, is when we start matching each other starting from 2026 .10 possible teams

I don't know about getting past it, but lets at least get one team there, we had none last time around. It will be sad if its group stages and out for Africa again, doesn't justify our cry for more spots...

Yet again Tunisia have qualified. Have they ever actually won a match at the numerous world cups they have qualified for

They were actually great in 1978 on their debut and thrashed Mexico. And they beat Panama in 2018 in a dead rubber game.

I don't see 10 teams doing better than 5 teams.

when there are more CAF teams, chances are higher that they match up as the tourney goes on

Do you think CAF would have been more successful in 2018 if Uganda, DR Congo, B. Faso and CIV were in Russia?

you are missing my points. If there are more CAF teams in a worldcup. The percentage of teams advancing to the latter rounds increases. There are strong possibilities CAF teams would match up in round 2 and beyond
