Re: Mancity must let pep go
A billion is the valuation of his team in terms of market value, not what he’s spent. It is barely 2 years ago that all a British newspapers were declaring LFC the most valuable squad after they won the EPL. LFC is not Plymouth Argyle.

This is a rather short-sighted thread.
It takes a lot more than an open checkbook (and even this has some constraints) for a manager to consistently win titles. Pep has won 10 to 11 titles in his time at City, including four league titles in the last five years. No manager in the EPL or anywhere in the top leagues has been successful as he has. Yet, folks feel that Man City should let him go because he has not been able to win the Champs league (despite coming very close to winning). Really?

He could win the CL next season and these same folks will shift goalposts again and come with another glorious reason why Pep should be sacked.YUJAM wrote: ↑Tue May 31, 2022 7:44 pm This is a rather short-sighted thread.
