End of an unfulfilled Generation: Belgium 0 Netherland 4

Post by azuka »

What a wasted generation. The Belgium footballing golden generation of KDB and co. This is a group of players good enough to win a World Cup under a sound coach. But no the Belgium FA persisted with a wannabe coach called Martinez. Why is a good research work for PHD students.

Feel sad for this group of players.

Hope the English FA is watching, listening and taking notes. A group of good young players are coming through and do require a great coach around. Southgate? Simply not it.

Give it up bro...
Form is temporary; Class is Permanent!
Liverpool, European Champions 2005.

We watched this very boring video, 500 times, of Sacchi doing defensive drills, using sticks and without the ball, with Maldini, Baresi and Albertini. We used to think before then that if the other players are better, you have to lose. After that we learned anything is possible – you can beat better teams by using tactics." Jurgen Klopp

Sorry, Southgate is the most successful English coach in about half a century!

All the so called world class coaches with BIG titles achieved nothing with the team.
