EPL has zero defending

score, score, score ....especially in the last minute. no tactical discipline. Just look at the amount of goals we've been seeing . 4-0. 9-0 , 6-0 etc.. . Then we have some funny people here claiming the Serie A is a league with zero defense. They are the best when it comes to defending tactically . Shameful watching basketball score lines in England

come May/June City will win the league again.. no difference from the Scottish league

That Haaland kid is making a mockery of our Best League on Earth.

He has to be studied and stopped in his tracks otherwise he will be getting a hattrick every weekend

BP, massa that is very harsh.
plenty people no go bi happy with you.
The reality is that the top 3 or 4 of the PL are good and equal to
big teams in the other major leagues. The problem is the mid-level PL teams are
technically not good.

The bobo is doing what he couldn't do in the one team league he was in.
We don't hear of Mo salah any longer. Waiting for Nunes the guy the pundits were
hailing as replacement for Mane to come back and show us what he can do.

More a case of extraterrestrial talent meets other worldly team (from an EPL perspective) to yield a near perfect symbiosis, again from an EPL point of view. To that is added the fact that the curve of attacking talent is far steeper than that of defensive. The next generation of forwards are arguably more refined, more ready to wreak havoc than the next generation of defenders are ready to repel.

Mbappe is thumping them in, Messi thumped them in, Ronny thumped them in, Tammy Abraham, once of Chelsea pine, history maker in the defensively shrewd Serie A. Elsewhere, the Upemecanos, the Malang Sarrs, the Konates, make more modest an impact.

In truth, the evolutionary demands of football are more easily accommodated by the attacker. Today, goalkeepers and centrehalves who, in years past would be impenetrable, impervious, are being asked to execute the ball playing pedigree of seasoned midfielders, the result, one need only look at Eddie Mendy, next generation GK, the list is endless. The game is favouring the forwards and thus the forwards are flourishing. Those near complete in their athletic composition even more so.

Look at this lying 1mbecile. will do anything to defend his Majesty, the Queen. What history did Abraham make in Serie A?

But Haaland is a one in a million. Putting him in that offense with all those great passers is not fair. Just De Bruyne on his own averages 15+ assist per season despite getting injured frequently. Haaland is doing what Mbappe (Ligue 1), Benzema (Laliga) and Lewndowski (formerly with Bundesliga) did in their respective leagues. I belive those players whille do what Haaland is doing if they cross over to the EPL.

10 in 6 for Ebubedike Haaland, but a noteworthy low block from Villa, never looked like opening yansh like the ménage-a-troising concubines in earlier exploits. Will certainly be in a relegation dogfight but kept the doggystyling for next week presumably.

City barely had a preseason so there was no time to gel, Liverpool played far more games by the time the CS came around.

FACT City is yet to play any decent team in the league. Also that was not the reason Pool beat them because of many games in preseason.

Pool took the glorified friendly against City far too seriously for their own good. The price they paid for winning that “friendly” were the injuries that have cost them points early in the season.

You people are going to keep making excuses upon excuses. City could end up winning the title again and yet they'll be another set of fresh excuses. Barely had a preseason, they played two games, one of them was even stopped earlier than regulated time. They went straight to Liverpool in the community shield in a glorified friendly and the surprisingly didn't win. My friend they lacked match fitness and they went up against a big team.

Don't mind them, Liverpool played like they were playing in the CL final and City were still barely out of vacation and they're jumping for joy because they won a glorified friendly.

Will Haaland break the record for goals scored in a single EPL season?

What's his injury record like

You watch Wolves here and you’re left questioning the integrity of the PL as a whole.
This is embarrassing to watch.
Off to watch Almeria…
Form is temporary; Class is Permanent!
Liverpool, European Champions 2005.

We watched this very boring video, 500 times, of Sacchi doing defensive drills, using sticks and without the ball, with Maldini, Baresi and Albertini. We used to think before then that if the other players are better, you have to lose. After that we learned anything is possible – you can beat better teams by using tactics." Jurgen Klopp

Maybe City are just so good they make them look like a pub team.
