Apparently Tottenham bought him before the game then sold him back immediately after, it’s why he was missing on the field today

Borussia Dortmund want to eventually replace Bellingham with Ajax star - Reports

Ajax midfielder Mohammed Kudus has emerged as a transfer target for Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund.

WHAT HAPPENED? With uncertainty surrounding the futures of Jude Bellingham and Youssoufa Moukoko, Dortmund have shown interest to sign the Ghana international from Ajax.

According to a Sky Sport, the Bundesliga outfit have already started working on the potential to get a replacement should Bellingham and Moukoko leave the club.

WHAT DID SKY SPORT REPORT? "You've been watching him for a long time and there have already been talks," said Sky reporter and transfer expert Marc Behrenbeck on Transfer Update - the show.

THE BIGGER PICTURE: Kudus is still under contract with the Dutch side until 2025 and is mainly used in an offensive role by manager Alfred Schreuder.

Kudus' style of play is reported to be similar to that of Bellingham, who has attracted the interest of numerous top European clubs with his strong displays.

The Black Star is having a good season so far in Eredivisie as he has scored five goals from 11 matches.

WHAT NEXT FOR KUDUS? He will hope to start when Ajax invite Liverpool for their Group A matchday five fixture of the Champions League at Johan Cruyff Arena on Wednesday.

Tottenham Hotspur in the race to sign Mohammed Kudus

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly one of the clubs interested in signing Ajax star Mohammed Kudus.

The 22-year-old was linked with a move to the Premier League during the previous summer transfer window, only for Everton to have a £15m bid for him rejected by Ajax.

Having stayed at the Dutch club, the midfielder now finds himself in Qatar representing Ghana at the World Cup. Now though, it appears that Spurs are the latest club to show an interest in signing the player.

Ajax are out of the champions league. He needs the WC to push his stick to the next level. I just have a feeling he will play selfish for Ghana. Okocha shone at the 98 WC & secured a move to PSG.

He wouldn't start for the SE or for any of the big teams in the EPL, . If he was elite the likes of Everton would have gone for him. He is like 26 now football age, not ghana age though, also parading as a 22 year old. We all know that dude is old. Look at his long arms and face. He was very poor off the ball yesterday and a huge liability in the midfield, that is why they pushed him up front because his turnovers are the highest in the Ajax squad
