Really weird to fire the coach when he just got the team to the Champions League quarter-final and just knocked out a team featuring Messi, Mbappe, and Neymar.

Strange timing.
Last season was poor, sure, and this season's league results could be improved.
But he is still in all competitions, his CL record looks stellar this season. Why fire him midseason?
Tuchel will be available every 12-24 months anyway, so it's not like there is a golden opportunity

It sounds like they just wanted Tuchel, rather than Nagelsmann doing anything wrong. Poor Nagelsmann was away skiing

They better be looking for a new coach in 3 yes or less. Tuchel has not lasted more than 3 yrs in any of his coaching jobs since he left Mainz. He reminds me of Conte and Klopp. Good coaches that at some point wear the players down with their strong personality & expectations.

One of the reasons flying around the Allianz is that his girl friend allegedly was a reporter/writer for German media outlet BILD and was plagued with diarrhea of the mouth or keyboard with all the game strategy and/or conversations within the team in general.
Them say she disrupted team chemistry and players didnt want to be around the coach whenever she was around. She has quit the BILD now that her boyfriend has been sacked. Useless girl!

She terminated her contract with BILD until the end of March.
