This is for the best.
He dodged a bullet. If he had played and conceded then he would have been in worse shape for the Lyon game.
Onana is a strong lad though. So he should bounce back.
He also has the most saves in ManU’s recent goalie history. :thumb:

That shows that ManU’s defense is mostly to blame.

The Newcastle game may have ruined the Turkish goalie’s chances. I hope he is a strong lad.
English fans have a way of destroying goalkeepers. I remember the England goalie whose career was ruined after a divot deflected a ball into the net.
