Missed it
Form is temporary; Class is Permanent!
Liverpool, European Champions 2005.

We watched this very boring video, 500 times, of Sacchi doing defensive drills, using sticks and without the ball, with Maldini, Baresi and Albertini. We used to think before then that if the other players are better, you have to lose. After that we learned anything is possible – you can beat better teams by using tactics." Jurgen Klopp

Why won't African players just pass the damn ball?
El Neysiri just got Ziyech a YC

It is not about African players. The game moves fast and these are often split second decisions.

Anyway, I have some questions about this Morocco side. Hadn't it been for some lax DRC play the game would be tied

But it is exactly about African players. You don't see it in any other tournaments or at least as much.

The game equally moves fast in other climes if not more!

You also don't see them do it in their clubs

You are just assuming. You don't have the data to support these type of broad generalizations

Decision by Morocco to sit back is not being supported by their tactical organization and work rate

Blood hell African football...nobody send your status in Europe. Question is can you do it on the balding sandy pitches of Ouagadougou and Yamoussoukro amongst others

Problem is not the decision to sit back, but not being compact and not controlling the game especially in MF where they are superior and thus allowing an end to end game
