There are no minnows.

But there are 2 distinct levels of teams at this tournament.

Those that can win the tournament and those that cannot.

But there are 2 distinct levels of teams at this tournament.

Those that can win the tournament and those that cannot.
VE, that’s the case everywhere; in EUFA, in AFC, in CONMEBOL and in CONCACAF… but there is a reason they actually play the games. There are always major surprises at every tournament. You just can’t bet the farm on the favorites🤔🙂❗️

When you look at the club sides the players play for, there's no longer much difference. Teams without players in top teams like South Africa have the core of their team from a local club that have been playing together for a long time. So no team can be overlooked. There's also passion and desire. Mozambique players were almost in tears when the ref awarded Ghana a second penalty kick, they were almost begging. Then they used that passion and desire to swamp Ghana into a draw.
